Default Wiper Switch On 68 Camaro 6 Cyl

The wipers only work when you hold in the button to spray water. If you try and just turn them on they don't work. So I have to hold the button in while I drive. Does this mean the switch is bad and how hard is it to change?
Thanks In Advance For Any Input

Assuming you have power in to the motor with both switch posistions then I would guess it is a ground problem in the switch.

Few threads on this paticular problem. Many people don't realize that the wiper system is ground controlled. Make sure your grounds on the motor and with the switch are good.
