I have the same problem as another forum member over a year ago. Replaced the wiper motor on my '99, now the linkage won't stay together. The link uses a plastic cup that snaps over a ball. Does anyone know of a source of parts that could fix this. Please help....it seems to rain every day!

[X(] while ive not had to deal with this issue with my car yet it sound like i will have to at some point. you may try checking the dealership for replacement arms with new plastics in them or try ( if its possible, like i said i havent dealt with this yet) and see if the setup can be replaced with spherical rod ends. ive used this very successfully in other applications when i was forced to deal with old brittle plastic parts that were costly or no longer available. this would most likely take some mechanic and fabrication skills but will eliminate your reliance on expensive or non existent parts. hope this helps kurt

Thanks, Kurt, for your advice. I talked to a friend who is a GM tech, and he even came over and fixed it! When you are connecting the linkage you hear a click and the two parts are connected....for a while. You need to push them together harder, until you get a second click. Then they are really connected. He says they do not have much problem with these, even with years of use.
