Default Windows Inop

I have a 98 v6. Last year all of a sudden both my windows stopped working and wouldnt go up. I let it sit and they would work intermittently. Sometimes they would both go down fine but wouldnt go back up. So I went and replaced both window motors and it seemed to fix the problem. Well, Now the problem is back & Im not happy about this.

Any help on whats causing this intermittent then nothing window problem?

Any solutions to this problem?

Next time I get a camaro, its going to have crank windows

Did you buy new motors or used/rebuilt motors? I have bought some rebuilt motors from some of the autostores and they don't last all that long. It is cheaper in the long run to go ahead and shell out the dollars for new motors. Also, make sure the switch connectors are bright and shiney for good contact and low resistance. We had one where we removed the window tint that was overloading the motor and what we found was there was some type of sticky substance on the window, could not see it but could feel it, that was grabbing the rubber seal on the inside top of the door panel and pulling it inside the door panel as the window was being lowered.
