Default WHITE FACE GUAGES

Anyone ever put on their own guage cluster? I'd like to put the white face guages on but I've never done anything like that before. Any body got any tips on how to do it right? It's going on a 94 Z28. Thanks guys.

I've done this on a couple cars, and it's fairly simple. The kits I had said to remove the needles, though I found out that hole was just big enough to slide over the needles. Therefore, saves you some time and hassle (gauges indicating wrong). Line them up to what you think looks good, reassemble cluster. Then reinstall cluster, and see how well you lined it up with the warning lights and such. If off adjust them. To make sure white face gauges stay put when reassembling the cluster, use a bit of scotch tape doubled on the back.

One bit of advice "Do Not Remove the Needles", otherwise you are asking for problems. I installed my silver colored gage faces without the needles being removed.

Almost forgot! Anyone know of a place to order L.E.D. dash lights for the same car? Might as well replace them since I'm going to have the gauges out.

I get most of my LEDs from eBay. I know the dash had about 7-8 194 type bulbs. Make sure you have the bulbs in the right way before bolting everything back in. Easiest way is to hook gauges back into dash, and make sure all the LEDs come on the way they're supposed to.
