I was looking under my car today to test out my new hydrolic jack. But I since I don't have the production manual. and Hayes Camaro book don't say where the lifting points are. I thought the middle of the front axle area. But my car is to low, and I can't get the lift under it.
I would really like to know, where I can lift this car safely car. I can't wait to start working on it. Just need to get under it.

mine has a pad behind the wheels in the front and in front of the wheels in the back. did u pick up some jack stands while u where at it. i got a low shop jack that goes really low and i can get it under the frontend center if i lift the front of the car just a little. lol. lift and kick the jack to roll under if im alone.

My floor jack will not roll under the front unless I use a smaller jack on the side (where craby is referring) and lift the car just a little. Then I roll the floor jack under the engine cradle and lift the front then set jack stands under the car on both sides of the engine cradle. You can see the pads where the jackstands are placed under this car. Car is being held up with a cherry picker from the top as well.

yeah, I am just looking to lift the front to change oil, replace spark plugs and wires. Not gonna be lifting my whole car up atm. But yeah I do have the jack stands. I have been looking for a pad, but I did not see one. Just noticed the axle bar looks like it would work.
Yeah, I was thinking about lifting up one side like to change a tire and sliding the jack under the center. not sure if that is a good idea or not. (or if I have a spare tire jack)
