Where to find replacement 6 3/4" mid/low speakers?

I have a 2000 Camaro v6 coupe with the Monsoon stereo system. I'm trying to find replacement speakers for the stock rear-seat panel speakers which measure 6 3/4" and play bass only.
I've been able to find the right size speakers in the past with a little work from Crutchfield but now they don't seem to have any that are the right size. I ordered Infinity resolution and Boston Acoustics speakers from them this month, both advertised as 6 3/4", but neither fit.
Most of the speakers advertised as 6 3/4" (including the ones I just bought and had to return) are actually 6 1/2", sometimes sold with a spacer that never fits right.
The last replacement's I got that fit perfectly were Kicker RMB6, but they've been discontinued and aren't sold anymore.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good replacement speaker and where to get it?

[&:] ive looked for straight replacements for my stock speakers also but have yet to find a true 6 3/4. some advertise as being compatible but they all seem to be 6 1/2. the only option i can think of is to have some custom fabricated adapter rings which im looking into doing now. i havent found anything like it that works. if the rings work i may consider producing some extras so let me know if interested kurt

I made my own out of sheet metal..Just thake the plastic ring off the door speakers, trace it on a piece of heavy sheet stock, then cut it out with snips. Then cut a hole in the center to accomidate the magnet and backing plate. Use silicone between the speaker and your template so it wont vibrate.

[&:] jesses i have a 95z convert and unless im mistaken all 93 up should share similar components. chappie 99's idea with sheet metal is perfect if you have the tools and time. it would seem rather simple to make so im surprised it hasnt been made for the aftermarket. maybe theres an idea for $$$ sure seems to be enough of us out there who need this kurt
