i have a 99 v6 manual trans. every time i jump on the gas my car seems to chug. does anyone know where i should start? thanks

fuelfilter, clean trottle body plugs wires.

vaccum advance isnt set right on the distrubutor might be a possibility. dirty air filter maybe?

Have you tried shifting down a few gears before stomping on it? Cars with manual transmissions don't like to be stomped on while in high gear and low RPM.

air filter new, i can have the rpm@3grand and still have the problem

what gear are you stomping in it in though? even if you're revin at 3000 in 5th, it will still stutter when you stomp on it.

For a start you may want to check the Thorottle Position Sensor setting and that the O2 sensors are working OK.

your best (cheapest) bet would be to check your plugs, wires, and ignition control module.
