I'm running 1 10'' Alpine sub with a single enclosure and it puts out great low end bass. I'm only running about 550 watts of power. I like sound but I didn't want to weigh down my car anymore than I had to. Stripping weight is like adding horse power.

 

im lookin at getting 10" or 12" subs.. do i need subs for an amp?? and what do you mean by cargo area??

 

In order to match you up with the best amp for your subs, we need to know exactly what subs you're going to get. But if you don't know, then just get the biggest one you can find and then you can tune it down to fit the subs you end up with.

Cargo area is the trunk or hatchback area.

alpine or pioneer 10" or 12" subs.. and i dont think or even know if i got cargo area speakers. my trunk lock is broken and i cant get in it from the back..
