What year/model Camaro is this?

its a third generation camaro. 1982-1992. but more than likley a near the later because it is a base model and does not have the berlinetta front nose that was on the early third gen and has a plain flat hood and no fog lights that came on iroc-z and z28 camaros. my guess 88 to 92 camaro. more than likley a v6 car

85-90. Dont forget they changed to the aero gfx in 91-92

i dont know 3rd gens that well i only know i want a 83 z28 cross fire. when did they drop the berlinetta?

1. why on earth would you want crossfire?? its THE most troublesome system you can get on a thirdgen. steer clear....

2. if you can see the interior you can better narrow it down. or a picture of the rear bumper if there are any decals ex. 2.8FI or 3.1 87 changed to the 3.1 my guess is its a 85-87 with a carbed 305 or 2.8/3.1.

3. you never know with these cars... mines an 83.. factory 4cyl. swapped to a 86 TPI and 88 5.7. 86 hood with louvers and hatch with 3rd light. with 84 z28 bumper covers and side skirts. and original dual needle guages... that suck.

that my good people is a 1989 Camaro RS Model

For drivetrain it had 2 availabilities

1. 2.8L Multiport fuel injected v6, 135hp, 160tq 3.42 gears
2. 5.0L 305 TBI v8, 170hp, 255tq, 3.08gears if standard, 2.73gears if automatic

In total 83,487 RS' in 1989 were built and sold

ofcourse its a third gen lol. However saying its a 1992 is completely off lol. Wrong ground effects and wrong spoiler is a big giveaway
