Default v-10

if by some act of god someone had the money to buy a v-10 viper engine. would it be possible to put it in a camaro without changing out everything that made it a camaro? because its common knowlege that camaros arent sleepers. i think that would be the first sleeper lol. so to speak.

i want it to say viper, and not corvette. thx for ruining my dreams lol.jk. thats pretty awesome tho. no way i could afford an ls7 or v-10 viper engine. ill keep dreaming. drop a t-600 in it. get 800hp easy. no tranny, just on and go lol. drive shaft right to the rear end. lol. we will simply need a throttle cable where the gear shift would go. and a tachometer out of a leerjet. wieghs about 400lbs tho i think. been a while since i touched one. itd be cool, people would mistake your exhaust for your intake.

If you have enough money you can do anything: GM's research group once put a big Ferrari V12 in a Firebird and made it run well (they had all the money they wanted).

The Viper installation would be a challenge, and interesting, but I think the car would be nose heavy unless you knocked back the firewall and intruded quite a bit on the driver's compartment to put the two "extra cylinders" behind the normal eight rather than ttake the easy way out and put them up front, using a split radiator and narrow accersories set to gain the roo needed for the engine being about 6 inches longer.

An LS7 makes the same power, as someone observed, and weighs less, and most important will fit without hassles.

Hey with wanting it to say viper just get some decals it's amazing how many ppl don't know a v-8 from a hole in the ground. I got this friend that has a little stock CRX and he has put triton V10 plastic decals on his fendor. I asked him to race and my other friend in the passenger seat said "Dude you can't beat him, he has a Triton V10" he argued for about an hour that it had a V10 dumbass but funny.

for the wieght of that engine, it isnt worth the effort. and if you want the fron of the engine and belts sticking out of the front, and keep a firewall, it wouldnt be possible
