Default throttle body cables

My 97 z has a twin 58mm BBK throttle body on it. I dont know much about BBK or how/if they affect the idle at all, but i know the cables stick. To get to the point, as i drive the car around, the idle speed increases, and i think it might be because the throttle cables are sticking and leaving it open just a little. Cold start it idles about 900 to 1000rpm, after about 30 minutes of driving, the temp is about 185 and idle speed is 1400-1600, i know this car has a bigger cam also but i dont think it would affect it that much. What/are there any good lubricants for the throttle cables? not inside the car, at the throttle body. ( ill post pics later) HELP HELP!!!!!
I have one engine pick in the photo gallery, buts its not very close up.

I'd contact BBK and get input from them first.

As long as the the snorkel is on, and no lube will get in the intake, you can go ahead and put silicone lube on the cable and in the sleeve.
