does anyone know where the thermostat location is at on a 2004 hyundai elantra ?

 

Follow the hose from the radiator.
Just a thought.

 

Most imports have it inside the hose and it is replaced as one unit, which means expensive.

 

I think you might have wasted your post doing it here. Not trying to bag on you but it might have been better to try a Honda forum and you should have better luck. Here it will be mostly guessing. Good luck.

 

A Honda forum might also be a waste. Specialy if he has to join one. They might not be nice and laugh at him since he is working on a Hyundia

Follow the upper hose. SOME imports will have them in the hose (like old domestic flatheads) or just go to the store and get one and see what they give you. Autozone shows a pic on thier computers and also market alldata and can answer this question for you.

Oh and you get the GM Isuzus, Toyota, suzuki, Saab, Volvo..... But have not seen a Hyundai..yet
