Suspension Donor Cars

Suspension Donor Cars
Was just wondering if any of you had anymore info other than what I already have. I already own an original 67 Z/28 that I have had since high school days. I just bought a 68 that has the drum brakes. I am planning on switching it over to disc brakes in the front and many years ago Hot Rod Magazine had an article in there of donor cars where the front suspension would inter change. My question is is there any other cars other than the ones I have listed that would interchange and bolt on ? The cars Hot Rod said would work are listed below.
68-72 Olds 442 - F85
68-72 Monte Carlo
69-74 Nova
68-72 Chevelle
68-72 El Camino
69-72 Pontiac Le-Mans
69-72 Pont. Tempest
68-72 Buick Special
68-72 Buick GS
71-72 GMC Sprint
If anyone else knows of any others that would work please let me know..
Thanks

RE: Suspension Donor Cars
yes there are a few others, Pont. Ventura and Firebird, the Firebird will use different steering linkage though
some of the ones listed use the single piston caliper design your 68 will have the 4 piston type, in case you didnt know
must be nice to have a 67Z, I just cant understand why they dont bring the money that the 69's do
You can buy an interchange manual here
http://hollanderinterchange.com/products/prod_cam.html
It has a lot of info and a lot of the other cars you can pick up so cheep, I got a 71 Ventura for my son's Nova for $500 with disc's

RE: Suspension Donor Cars
Wade,
Thanks for your reply and the info. I know what you mean by the 67Z compaired to the 69Z. Its strange becasue they only made 602 of the 67Z Camaro's.
I was at a junk yard yesterday with alot of golden oldies in it but everything I found so far was one year to new. If anyone on here is looking some 2nd generation parts there is one camaro out there with a good front end on it but no hood, interior. Theres also some of Impala's, Monza's and more in this junk yard.
Thanks
Rick
