Hello all,
I drive a 98 3.8 camaro manual 132k and whenever I reverse or go around sharp turns (especially reversing and turning at the same time) I hear a squeking/rattling noise coming from under my car. I also hear a similar noise once in a while when I rev the motor (in or out of gear), but I cannot tell if it is the same noise or same place. My roomate said he thinks it has something to do with my differential and a co worker suggested a problem with my cat converter. Any suggestions?

Hard to shoot a noise trouble from a distance. You need to get under the car and do a serious visual and physical check. Shake, push, and pull everything that can possibly move in order to loacte the problem. Do it with the engine running, but be extremely careful, as I am sure you don't want to get hurt.
