Service Light

Default Service Light

Hello i have a 94` camaro i have resently serviced my engine as my service light came on is there any way you can reset the light?

just disconnect the negative from the battery and that should clear your code.

when i did mine i just waited two seconds then put it back on.

You need to do what the light tells you. "CHECK THE ENGINE'. Scan the the engine with a scan tool and see what the trouble code is about. Fix the trouble and the code goes away.

I'm with Pete, you shouldn't have to reset that light, you've probably got a bad O2 Sensor or something like that. Get her checked!
