Default serpentine problem

im in the process of changing my v belt into a serpentine and i found a little problem. I took the serpentine brackets off a 90 blazer with a 5.7 TBI and im tryin to install it onto my 86 5.0 tpi but the tensioner is in the way of the throttle body and TPS. what would i have to take the brackets off of to fit my car? what do i do with the fuel lines that are in the way of the alternator and power steering pump?

The pick ups have the tensioner up high in the middle dont they. How come your TPI does not have a serpintine? I thought the did. You may just have to find the proper brakets for a TPI or Summit racing sells the GM performance serpintine kit for $750 with or $550 with out AC.

Yes the tensioner is up high in the middle which is the problem and no it didn't have a serpentine from the factory it came with a v belt. Im trying to put a pro charger on the car so i need the alternator to be on the driver side. is there any other vehical that has the tensioner in a different postion?

A later TPI. At least 1990 should definatly be serpintine. My 91 TBI is. I think the Caprices would be your only RWD choice.
