Reverse light operation backwards
Ok folks, reverse light never worked since I bought the car. I did an extensive troubleshooting to find out the problem lies at the steering column.
2 things remaining.
1. The ignition lock is set-up backwards. The key will not come out with reverse lights "off" (should be the case with them "on") (Improper install?)
2. The hole in the steering tube which activates the switch is backwards. (due to improper install?)
Can either of these two things be accidentially installed wrong to induce the problem?
The issue is the reverse lights operate when they are not suppose to and do not operate when required. The switch is fine, the wires are fine. Its the activation part that is screwed up. Its backwards.
Help please.
