Default Prom chip causing predestination running lean

My 89 z28 5.0has a hypertech chip part #128822 .this chip is for an 88 camaro. Is that chip not compatible with the 89 cause the 89 didn't have the 9'th cold start fuel injector?Iv been getting a bad lean condition from o2 sensor after it gets to normal temp but not till I shut it off and start it back up.(brand new o2 sensor).also put a new stock distributor in and it started this about two weeks later.any help would be apriciated. You can here more about my problem here at RUNS GOOD COLD.Also i cant get a neworiginal chip without my stock part #G.M. said they couldn't tell witch one it was.

93 octane. Timing is at 7 degrees top dead center. Also that chip is for a 5.7L not 5.0L.It only dose this after its at normal temp I shut it off let it sit it mite start mite not without spraying it with either then it runs like crap.

Download Hypertechs application giude. If the part numbers are different for the two aplplications that should tell you enough.I had bought a hypertech for my 84 and it was a 49 state chip and would not work in my California car. As for needing the stock prom numbers all they should really need are the service numbers on the sticker on the outsice of the computer.
