Default Project of Mine, 429 in LTD Crown Vic

My uncle has an old ford camper sitting in his yard. And sitting in the camper is a 429 Mercury big-block with low mileage on it. I'm trying to get him to give the camper to me so i can rip out the engine and use it for something. I would like to take the engine and tranny, rebuild them, and stick them in a 79-91 LTD Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis. Would make for something relatively cheap but with great power. Do you think it's feasible? I've been posting in a lot of Ferd forums but i get no awnser anywhere. Please help me!

429? Didn't those come in the old Cobra's? With the older Crown Vic's you should have the room to get it done.

You mean the LTD ones, like this one right?

What i'm wondering is if everything's gonna drop right in. No butchering, welding, messing with the frame or ect. I don't have access to tools like welders and all that.
