my budy has 1989 camaro rs 305 tbi with limited mods, headmen headers, three inch y pipe clean cat, flowmaster and air system removed what is his best case senario horsepower? and does anyone have an exact guess weight on the 89 rs stock?

 

his hp is going to be about 10 over stock maybe 15 on a good day. I think the 3rd gens are somplace around 3300-3500 lbs depending on options and such.

screw both the 305 and the tbi


he prob does have 15-20 over stock but stock for that motor is like 280, and its so old and tired it prob only has about 200

 

i disagree. the 305 TBI is one of the best motors chevy ever built, and you can easily get over 400 hp out of them
