I have a 94 and the thing will not start the securitylight keepscoming on. I've called the dealership but they said they will not work on it because its a 94 they only work on 96 and up. PLEASE can you help me out.

 

The same thing happened too my 94 and i just put it in neutral and roled it backwards. it started rite up and havnt had the problem since. if that doesnt work take the key to the dealer and have them make a new one. cuz there is a sensor in the key that could be going bad.

 

Try your spare key or a new one with the proper pellet. Search the forum for VATS. There are numerous posts regarding the security system.
