What is the hump in the passenger side floor board there for? What is it accomodating?

Thanks. Yeah, I just went out and looked under the car and thought the cat looked like it was right around where the hump is, but I thought it would be weird if they invaded the floorboard space just for that. But I don't care - I'll never be on that side.

because of that, the passenger sits up higher about 3 inches in my car (may also be the seat as well). keeps the shorter hunnies eye level with me

 

Also keeps the hunniesfeet nice and warm and prevents them from getting cold feet at the wrong time. All thanks to the GM engineers.

 

its nice to know that our car makers thought that far ahead. i love my camaro. its got a nice dip in the passenger floorboard to accomodate feet lol.
