Maybe.
My first thought would be if using a high pressure washer you could have caused a plug wire to split or pull slightly loose.
Or when washing a wire and or plug that where marginal (still firing, but carbon tracking slightly) to finally go fubar and now you'll start getting a miss, and eventually a check engine light with a random misfire code (P0300) or a specific cylinder code.
You also could have introduced water into a specific sensor on the engine and now it is sending a improper signal to the PCM, and the motor is being adjusted, incorrectly, because of the false signal.
MAF sensor wet, if any water managed to get into the air intake. Coolant sensor soaked, they are notorius for having harness failures, Possibly could have split or slipped a vacuum line off.
Visual inspection is the first thing to do before touching anything. LOOK at what could be wrong first.
And, you could need to go beat the snot out of it and it will dry off.

Heard good words about the Delteq, don't know about the other. In any event, the internals of the Opti are still being used in both systems. This means that you still need an opti with good internals to make the multi coil systems work. The only thing different, as far as the Opti goes, is that the high voltage spark is removed from it, and with it the ozone production. This should keep new internals from getting corroded, but wont help if you start out with bad ones.
