Default Open Plenum Tunnel Ram

ok here's a goody ... how in the heck do you adjust dual carbs with an open plenum tunnel ram? cut the fuel off to one carb and adjust one at a time that way? sick

I saw your post and thought I watched Bob at Spartan engine development do it many times before. I geuss I should have paid attention to what he was doing.[:@]

In the old tripower days, we used a synchronizer gauge on top of the carb and adjusted the air screws so that each carb sucked the same amount of air at idle. Then adjusted each mixture screw the same amount, a little at the time. Took quite a while and the adjustments needed monthly touch ups.

yea i'm still running a little rich. the cutting off fuel to one doesn't work. someone needs to invent a devise for dividing the plenum when adjusting. would make things alot easier. sick
