Default RE: Oil Pressure Gauge

All I see in the above post is
Here is whats wrong. P.S. The people who installed the supercharger made a hole in the oil pan and connected it to the supercharger. Could that also be a reason the oil get black really fast?
There is no mention of what is wrong with the oil pressure. Just a little box with red X in it. Dark Oil color is caused by blow by. This is when combustion gases pass you rings. The soot from these gases ends up in the oil. If the oil darkens faster then normal it could be caused by an increase in blow by or the blow bythatis thereis richer then normal. GM does not allow the quick darkening ofoil by itself to to be concidered a problem under warranty. I have had customers come to me and tell me that within 200 miles of an oil change their oil gets black. GM response is go drive you car and have a nice day.

With the installation of a super charger I would except to see increased blow by on a engine that was not rebuilt to handle the extra pressure. Make sure your not running rich as stated above and drive it until it starts smoking. At some point your blow by will over come your PVC system and you will get oil in your intake.
