need some help with an ignition problem 98 camaro

Default need some help with an ignition problem 98 camaro

I have a 98 camaro with a 3.8 liter v6 automatic, car ran fine to work yesterday started good ran great, now this morning i got in the car and tried to start it and nothing all light and guage are functionally properly the security light is not flashing either I have set and reset the alarm both by key pad and door key, I have tried all the keys i have for the car also so I dont think the chip in the key is out I can hear the fuel pump running in the tank, and tried to jump start and put it on a battery charger which shows the battery is fully charged I need help what else or what am I overlooking also looked at all fuses and fuse boxes everything is checking out wow I'm at a loss here does any one have the same problem or have any ideas please thank you

could be the park, neutral start switch. its under the center console. well it is on mine. lol. try moving the shifter out of park and back in or to neutral and see if itll start. otherwise i would suspect the starter is failing and take it out and have it tested. check the fuses in both fuse boxes.

I tried moving the gear shifter and still nothing at all I will try the taking the starter out and haviing it tested i also tried moving my fuses around and still nothing there either and i also tried new ones so I hope its the starter thanks for your reply every little bit helps

Did you try moving the shifter to neutral and starting it like Craby suggested? Other than that I would think it's a short or the starter.
