need help finding out what camaro RS or SS or none
hi fellas
my unckle just bougt a 1970 camaro he was told by seller that this is a orginal 1970 camaro RS... few days later i was talking abougt that car to a freind of mine who happens to be working in auto-registration office here in iceland in he looked up the car, and told me how many owners and stuff like that abougt the car and he also told me that this car is not a camaro RS og SS it was just an old normal 1970 camaro.. so i call my uncle with thease bad news.. and we wrote down the serial on the body in weak hope that we will find someone on the internet that can give us a solid answer
here is the model number of the camaro (124870N533290)

i can tell you that, that car, came with standard interior, an origonal V8 and it is in fact an SS, but it was a base model SS. hense the standard interior and not custom. and that car was made in Norwood, Ohio. and as far as bad news that is an SS not an RS, its good that its an SS, their worth more money. do you know what size motor is in it? 327, 350, 454? and i can tell you more if you get the cowl tag.

You can also switch over to an RS style grill and headlight/turnsignal front end pretty easily if you want it to look like an RS. A lot of people like the RS split bumper styling more so than the standard single bumper.

why would you Put an RS grill in a True SS? that makes no sense? people make RS's into SS's. not SS's into RS's. as far as having it look like an RS, i dont think thats what he want. i think that he thinks he just got f****d because its an SS not an RS like the guy said. hes from iceland, i dont think he knows much about camaros.
