Default Need help finding date code on 327

I cant seem to find the date code on the block. Front right is this # J157975 F1026RB

Left back under the head is 3782870

I thought there was a date code next to the block casting # but I cant find it. Is it in another spot?
Thanks

Flint motor plant 10 (October) 26th assembly date. The RB suffix code tells it's a 1962 327, 300 h.p., hi-perf. mated to a manual trans, from a full size car (Impala, etc.)
Wouldn't hurt to keep looking for the casting date, just to make sure there's no conflicting reports: Camaro Decoding help on Chevy-Camaro.com

Your casting number 3782870 is 1962-65, or other sources are showing it to go up to 67.
That alone would suggest the 1-5-6 might be the casting date. Make sure you're seeing a 1, because the first digit in the date would be a letter (I) not a number. But, I'm also finding the RB suffix code might be 1962-64, not just 1962, but not up to 1966. However the suffix code would still mean the 1/I-5-6 wouldn't be the casting date. See if you can find anything else.

So after some more searching I found this. J123. So that tells me the date code is Oct 12 1963. You hear people talk about numbers matching cars, is there a way to tell which specific car this engine came out off?

Casting date that late in the year means it was put in a 1964 model car. As I mentioned above, the suffix code means it was from a full size car, such as an Impala. And being a hi-perf manual trans application, I'd say an SS.
