Finding paint code for my car

Default Finding paint code for my car

I was wondering if anyone on here could help me with this?
I called the gm dealer to see if i could get the paint code for the red on my car if u all look at the pics u can see the color of red.
I was wondering if any one new the paint code or u gm's definition for that color of red? If anyone does i greatly apprieciate it.

paint codes are usually located on the inside of your door jam on drivers side...for example it would be something like ph233...it should be on a single sticker by itself.

I have already checked every where all the stickers that should be there are gone or have fell off

might be able to go to your local body shop and give them your vin number

The paint code will be on the RPO code sticker which is located on the inside of the rear hatch storage compartment door located on the drivers side rear side panel. The paint code should be WA**** for upper and WA**** for lower. Post a pic of the car, there were only a few reds for these cars.
You can also go to an auto parts store where they sell touch up paint and look up 89 Camaro and look through the reds to match yours, that will give you the code for that colour paint.

Since you did not post a picture, there are two colors of red for 1989.
#74 Flame red (dark)
#81 Bright red

Most likely is located on the door jam
