Default Low level light

Anyone....Help. its driving me nuts....I just picked up a 1994 Z28, no owners manual in the glove box. I have a dash light on. It looks like a low level indicator. It has a arrow pointing down with what looks like a fluid under it. WHAT IS IT...ALL FLUIDS ARE FULL, IS IT A SENSOR GONE BAD? WHAT FLUID IS IT FOR?...

Thanks in advance..

I'm going to search ebay for an owners manual next....

i believe it is your low coolant light, try to flush and refill your coolant system, and make sure there are no air bubbles by opening the bleed screw until its a steady stream of coolant, even if your coolant seems at a good level it could be dirty and messing with the sensors.

If that doesn' fix it, pull the electrical connector from coolant level sensor, short the two wires toghether with a paper clip, and the light should go out. If the light stays on you have a wiring/connector problem. If the light goes out the sensor module is bad, you can try clening it, or better yet replac it. It is located on the top right of the radiator.
