My key fob stopped working so I replaced the battery. No no avail...so I bought a new key fob...to no avail...anybody know where exactly the receiver is (I know it is somewhere under the dash) so I can test it, and how to get to it, and how to actually test it??

what year is your car? I know for 93-? it is under the pasengerside. To quote the service manuel "it is mounted on the right hand hinge pillar". its in a little pocket right undernith the trim pannel

 

Try holding down lock and unlock for 7 seconds close to the vehicle. That will usually reset them after you replace the battery.

 

Normally, when you replace the key fob transmitter you have to reprogram the receiver in the car to work with the new transmitter. The instructions are in the owners manual.
