is there any problem driving with the iac unplugged untill i get my idle problem fixed? its a 97 z 28 lt1

 

Not as long as the engine doesn't kill on you. The IAC directs extra air (if needed) at idle, bypassing the closed throttle blade, to keep your idle speed where it's supposed to be.
That air circuit isn't used or needed once the throttle is opened.
