Default I need HELP...94Z not starting

just bought this car and have looked it over and only found 2 plugs not plugged in...one is the MAF sensor and the other i am not sure but it looks like a coolant temp sensor.

it appears that i may not be getting spark. is there any way to diagnose a bad opti spark without replacing it?

i am trying to get this car running so i can move it before the hurricane hits VA...

I quickly searched the forums and didnt see anything on this subject...please help

What exactly is it doing when you crank? I had a similar issue on my old camaro and thought it was the opti but ended up being something in the ignition

update...checked the wires again, verified that the firing order was right...replaced the coil wire with a vision 10.2 wire and shot some duster down the intake and it ran for a second...we have spark, now i have to siphon half a tank of year old gas out and put the water pump back on tonight or tomorrow so i can drive it up the road so it dont flood out with the hurricane this weekend...

after some research, this car was registered in 08 with 156k on the clock and it still has 156k on the clock so it might be 3 year old gas...hopefully i can move threads and get back on the what did you do today thread...

yeah it is getting something but dont have a gauge on it but i got it to run for a little bit on a car of canned air...i out about 5 gallons of 87 in it...that was my mower gas and i am about to go get 5 gallons of 93 and a bottle of 104 octane boost and see if that will make it run

its in fact not making fuel pressure...is this a fuel pump issue or possibly a relay? i dont hear the pump running...its slowly looking like i am gonna have to role the dice and try my luck with the hurricane craps game...some are saying 3-4 ft surge and others are saying 8-9 ft surge...

thats what i am planning...but i have to tow it a long way because its not registered and i dont want it to get impounded...i guess its karma since i got him to take 500 off the price...guess i will spend that getting it towed...from hampton VA to Chesapeake VA...but next week i get work on it some more...

Well wish me luck...heading inland tomorrow and hopefully back on monday unless the house is uninhabitable...
