bluoval is correct in that a complete rear with posi is probably the cheapest and easiest way to get more grip. avoid like the plague the gov lok ( small set of fly weights on the open side of carrier).
black z if only one side is spinning most likely the poor gent has no form of posi or locker in his car, engine size wont matter kurt

[&:] black z the limited info i have for the 2000 model shows around twenty five thousand base model (v6) with no less than three thousand three hundred having the rpo Y87 that included a limited slip. this is a wee bit better than 66/100 of one percent you indicate. my resource doesnt list rpo G80 for this year but if it was available then the number would most likely be even higher.
i mention the complete rear swap as this is far easier and cheaper for most starting wrenchers than swapping in just the differential( properly setting up a differential will give even experienced mechanics fits on occasion) kurt
