Historic Plates
I have a 4th gen F body which I love. Unfortunately, I cant pay insurance on both cars. I've put a lot of work into it and I just don't think I can let it gol. I could let the car sit for a few years until its historic. Does anyone know about how much insurance is on a historic car for once in a while cruising.
im not sure if its much less.... however many insurance companies will let you go comprehensive only while its in storage. you just have to call them to let them know you will be taking it out and they will bump it to full for the days its in use
You might be storing your car for longer than you think. Check with your state, but here in IL, a car has to be at least 25 years old to qualify for historic plates.
I think it's 30 years here in WA.
