Front Right Wheel ABS tripping or bad Brakes
I have a question for the Guru's at Camaroforums.com
I have a problem with my 1997 Z28. The Frontleft tire keeps setting off the ABS or Traction control when stopping. Do you think it is bad break fluid causing the wheel to lock and set off the ABS and ACR. or do you think it is a sensor somewhere.
I have never flushed the system because I was told to do it with the plugs at 100,000. Actually i was told to never waste my timeflushing it byGM servicebut it was recomended by some car sites.

RE: Front Right Wheel ABS tripping or bad Brakes
Each front wheel has a speed sensor plugged into the hub housing. Possible causes are: special flex wiring connecting to the wheel sensor damaged, a bad electrical connection, bad sensor, worn out hub bearing allowing the tone wheel to wobble, warped rotors, dragging brake pads, bent wheel, unmatched tires, unmatched tire pressure.
