Default RE: Flooding motor?

Ok I finally got it started. It ended up being the ECU, I just forgot to put the PROM back in the new one :P Would open exhaust cause the knock sensor to constantly send a signal and retard the timing so much that it won't idle? I got a code 43 which is for the knock sensor. I'm going to replace it today because I couldn't find anything wrong with the wiring and see if that fixes it. Anyone else have this problem?
