Factory Service Manual Alternative
For those that like to work on their own machines, a factory service manual (FSM) can save time, money and aggravation. The problem is that many are not prepared to pay $ 100 to $150 for a FSM. The Haynes and Chilton manuals, $15 to $25, are a good alternative for run of the mill work, but leave a lot out, especially with the electrical drawings. The good news is that Alldata, the repair database used by many shops, has a section for DIY people and offers the equivalent of a FSM on line, for a yearly service charge of $24.95 for 1 car, and $14.95 for each additional car on the same account. http://www.alldatadiy.com/
