hmm thx for tellin me about the street avenger, its cheaper than the edelbrock. ill check more into it.

sry bout that matt, i meant the performer series. the first few. but the street avenger is very nice

thats the one i was looking at, do you know what the HP gains would be.
all it says is 300 to 400 on the jegs site. i dont think it will add 300 to 400 HP lol.

oh i see now the one from autozone is a 770 cfm, for $390. and the 670 cfm on jegs is $369. the 770cfm is 379 on jegs. now my engine is almost completely stock, so it only has about 215 horsepower. will i need at least 300 to use the 670 cfm carb or will i have to get the 570.

its for cars with 3 to 400, they have a 570 cfm carb for cars with less then that. http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...49689_-1_54832

should be able to do it your self,but you can check the prices and see if someone can do it cheap.

i just flipped through the manual, i can do it myself, theres no adjustments i need to do and no special tools necessary. it would take me a few hours so i will take it somewhere for a diagnostic to make sure its the carb, and if it is, here i come street avenger. lol. ill put it on on my day off. lol. thanks for all your help man. i appreciate it. ive never been this excided to spend 400 bucks lol. hahahaha.
