clicking sound...help
Recently, as I've been driving, I've heard a clicking sound coming from the right side of the rear axle. It seems like every time the axle spins, at a certain point the sound happens, and I have no idea where it is coming from. any ideas?

Does it have drum brakes or disc on rear? Could be something on the brake loose, parking brake issues, etc. Block the front wheels, jack the rear up and rotate the tires to see if you can pinpoint where the noise is coming from.

just an idea thatd b less expensive to just replace n see if it was the problem -
check the bearing |
osduck is on the right track, find the sourse of the noise if posible and it sounds like it could be brakes. could also be driveline. do u have a two piece driveline? could be carrier bearing. also could be something got wrapped up somewhere along the line so check that two.

first of all, check for any scrap, if stuck to axle, if found none, then may be some part of your car has fallen on axle

Yeah, it just turned out to be a loose lug-nut. I had my oil changed and tires rotated recently, and I guess when they put the wheels back on they didn't tighten them down all the way. needless to say, i'm not going back there again.
