Changing spark plugs

Default Changing spark plugs

I have a 1997 Camaro with a 3.8 V6. What is the secrete to changing out the plugs. I can't even see them. Help a brother out.

Change them from under the car.

It was either that or say it was a lifetime non servicable item and you need to replace the motor with them.

I'm a big dude I thought the same thing...lol I got some ramps im going to roll the beast up on. I just bought the Bosch Platinum Ir Fusion plugs. I will let you know how it goes.

Update:

I am not real savy working on cars to be quite honest with you. But I will say I just put the car up on some ramps and there is no way I can get my large hands in there to change those plugs. Some of you guys might have some tricks to the trade but for this ole boy I just cant make it happen.

Then for you I suggest getting some one else to do it. I have a swivel sparkplug socket with two joints. I changed the plugs on a Subaru and there is barely enough space for the plug or the wireto come out! (boxer engine, YUCK!)

There is one ratchet that has saved the day for me many times. It is the Roto Ratchet made by SK. It was originally intended for aircraft work, costs about $60, but to meit isworth it.
