car pulls to one side when braking
I have a 91 camaro 3.1. When I brake my cars pulls very hard to the left side but when I drive normal it drives straight no pulling to either side. I am guessing I am having a problem with a caliper not working correctly. How can I tell which one it is? Is the left one pressing too hard making my car pull or is the right one not pressing hard enough? I'm a little stumped here. I did put the car on blocks and had a friend turn the wheel as I put on the brakes to see if there was a significant difference but we couldnt find anything. Any help would be appriciated

Either the left side is pulling too hard and/or hanging up, or the right side isn't pulling much at all. You may be able to tell what's going on by comparing the pads to see how they are wearing (or not) left side to right. You could also jack up the front end, step on the brakes, and have a buddy try to rotate each wheel. If the pads on the left side are worn away, and it's metal on metal, that will cause the wheel to yank on you.
