This hose just burst (1996 Camaro 3.8). Does anyone know the name of the hose?

Looke like a bypass hose. If the hose is bad you can cut off the metal band and replace the hose instead of getting every part its connected to.

 

Thanks a lot I can't seem to find the hose anywhere. As far as cutting it, it does have a plastic end. The dealer says its a hundred dollar hose! I just don't want to order the wrong hose. Thanks again!

 

I cant say it will work. But I have seen hoses with plastic ends on foords and people cut off the plastic band that holds them on and use hose clamps. May work for you too. The all you got to do is go to an autozone or some place and buy a hos the same size with a bend molded in.
