Any help would be really appreciated. I have a 2002 3800 and my blower fan for my a/c and heat is making a wining sound. As far as I can tell the fan is behind the glove box near the actuator with the vacuum tubes. I have tried to spay WD40 in there without any success. Does this sound like the fan is failing, either way how do I get to that fan? Please help its hot that noise is annoying and I don’t want my a/c fan to fail on me now.

sounds like the bearing is failing. The noise you here is most likely the fan blade rubbing on the casing. When the bearing fails it begins to allow some imbalance in the fan.
May stay noisy for a long time before chewing itself up and dieing.
