bad runnin 94 Z-28

new here. wanted to know if anyone would know why when my car is warmed up, the idle jumps up to 1.5 grand and back down to .5. it also starts breakin up while driving. any help appreciated.

could you be more specific ? does it shake or stumble ? whats it like when it getswarm ?

Is the check engine lit? If it is, you need to address that problem first. Otherwise start by giving the carfresh plugs & wires, new fuel filter, new air filter, new PCV valve, & look for vacuum leaks.
