RE: bad injector... helpp
sorry i dont know to much about fuel injection cars.... im working on mine right now and its definitly a learning experiance. I do know how to take the injectors off. Inside ur fuel injection system u will see these little well...injectors that go into each combustion chamber just pop them off and take the clip off from the fuel housing type thing(sorry forgot the name), and then replace them. but i dont know how they stop working.... maybe they could be clogged??? hope i helped.

[X(] fuel injectors go bad a couple ways. they have tiny orifices(holes) which can get plugged or partially obstructed and it doest take much to ruin the spray pattern and volume. the injector also has an electrical coil which is as succeptable to damage like all other electrical parts. id recommend replacement but most can be rebuilt if money is tight. you may also consider replacing all 6 or 8 at the same time to maintain injector performance level (spray pattern and volume ) which effect both mileage and performance . as for replacement most are on a common fuel rail held down with bolts and often each injector has a clip holding it onto this rail. remove electrical connectors then clips and then rail. replace as needed and reinstall in reverse order. often the o rings are old and brittle or hard so some muscle may be required to remove them
a word of caution the codes are only an indicator of where to start looking for a problem dont trust them as gospel as there can be many causes of a failure in any system. a good shop can use specialty equipment to check engine function with regards to the injector and or test the injector itself. kurt

can you guys make sense of this? its a picture of the failure lol
it was my inspection failure... i switched all the plugs and wires and put injector cleaner, then hooked it up, turned on the car, passed hte test... left the garage and it started spitting again lol, so i kinda screwed that inspection
