ok, im putting a 5 speed transmission in to replace that old automatic transmission with a bad torque converter, everythings cool except the brake pedal is very wide due to it being an automatic, i somehow need to make the brake less wide to make room for a clutch,
any suggestions

 

your putting in alot of work. theres a ton of stuff you need to swap them out. do u have everything? like the center console an crap. but what i'd do about the pedal thing is go out to a junk yard an get the pedal off another 5speed an put it on there.

 

good advice about the junkyard, and yeah i already have all the pieces including new center console

 

Don't fudge the pedal, just go get one out of a junkyard or order a new set of pedals.
