Default alternator blades rub against housing

pretty self-explanitory, the blades are rubbing against the housing of the alternator and grinding it down, just bought the alternator last week, stuck and dont know what to do to help my poor car. if anybody has ANY suggestions, that would be GREAT!

OK, I gotta ask a dumb question. Did your alternator come with a pulley installed, or did you have to swap your original one?
If it's a real tight fit between the fan and case, then it kinda sounds like the spacer between the fan and alternator body may be missing.
But if some fins are just dragging lightly, you can pry them out with a screwdriver till they clear. It isn't rocket-science! The fins may have gotten bent while in storage.
I've never seen an alternator with such a worn bearing to make the fan bottom out, especially not on a new one. Worn or not, the bearings don't affect side-to side fitment of the armature of the alternator. They're sealed bearings with a collar on the shaft, so everything is sandwiched together and can't move.
