look at my engine, and there it was, an old mouse nest. i pulled 3 of the wires from the coils so i could clean out the nest. replaced the wires now my car runs horrible, if i go at any thing more than an idle it coughs and stutters. any ideas

 

u had to put those wires back on incorrectly.

 

did it run bad before you messed with the wires? If not then do what blade said...

if it ran bad before you removed the nest, the damn critters probably chewed thru some wires

 

it was running a little poor before hand, that is why i was under the hood. ihave been having either a spark plug, or fuel injector problem for a while, the plug wires on top look O.K. i havent had the chance to get underneath to look. i checked to make sure the wires were connected correctly, and they are. i am not getting a check engine light. i'm lost. will a code show if the light does not come on?
