Ok so heres whats happened. My brother went out of town for a couple months and when he gets back his Camaro wont start. Its a 96-97 I think. So I try jumping it but no dice. At key on hes got full power, but when turned to start theres nothing. warning lights illuminate and everything else drains. But no starter click. I get under the car and check for constant power to the starter and check for remote power. Both seem to have power. I changed the starter ( by the way that sucks) but still nothing.In hinesight though I belive that I mayhave inadvertantly touched the constant wire therefore misdiagnosing it as a starter problem.All battery connections look good as well as grounds. Ive cleaned and checked all them . Im going to recheck starter power. Is there somthing Im missing? Immobilizer maybe. Hidden grounds? Anything you guys could lend to me would be great. Im not familier with these cars at all. And Im running out of ideas. Thanks in advance.
